This village house is in the pretty mountain village of Picena in Las Alpujarras. The house is arranged over 3 floors plus roof terrace. Entering through the front door the ground floor into a central hallway to the right there is a kitchen with original fireplace and marble topped units. Ahead is a large dining room with seating for 6 in what would originally have been the stables. Original features include the mangers and half height stable door. Wooden beams cover the ceiling and located off of the dining room is a separate bodega. The back of the house has the original 12th century stones set within the wall.
Upstairs to the first floor you will find the main lounge with original fireplace and large french doors which open out onto a traditional wrought iron and tile balcony.
